Terms of Service

These terms set the ground rules for using the official hosted Rolino service. Open-source and self-hosted use remains governed by the licenses shipped with the code.

Effective July 25, 2026

Agreement and eligibility

These Terms govern your use of the official Rolino website and managed service at getrolino.com. By creating an account, joining a paid plan when available, or using the hosted service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

You must be able to form a binding contract where you live. If you use Rolino for an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms for it.

The service

Rolino helps users prepare, schedule, and publish social content, including through connected platforms, APIs, CLI tools, and supported agent interfaces. Features may be added, changed, limited, or removed as the product develops.

Rolino is currently offered as a beta service. We work to make publishing reliable, but beta features may be incomplete or change more frequently than generally available software.

Accounts and security

  • Provide accurate account information and keep it current.
  • Protect your login, API, CLI, and MCP credentials.
  • Use only social accounts and workspaces you are authorized to control.
  • Promptly revoke credentials or notify us if you suspect unauthorized access.
  • Accept responsibility for activity performed through your account and authorized agents.

Your content and publishing instructions

You retain ownership of content you provide. You grant Rolino a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, reproduce, transmit, and format that content only as needed to operate, secure, and improve the service and carry out your publishing instructions.

You are responsible for your content, captions, schedules, audience settings, disclosures, and publishing choices. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for everything you upload or publish, including music, images, video, trademarks, and personal information.

Acceptable use

You may not use the hosted service to:

  • break the law or violate another person's rights;
  • publish spam, deceptive content, malware, harassment, or unlawful material;
  • access accounts, workspaces, or data without authorization;
  • evade platform limits, safety checks, confirmation requirements, or access controls;
  • probe, disrupt, overload, or reverse engineer the hosted service except where law expressly permits; or
  • use automation in a way that violates a connected platform's rules.

Third-party platforms

Connected services such as Instagram and TikTok are independent from Rolino. Your use of them remains subject to their own terms, policies, account eligibility, content rules, rate limits, and technical availability.

Rolino cannot guarantee that a platform will accept, process, display, or retain a post. Platforms may change or suspend their APIs, revoke access, or take action on content or accounts. You remain responsible for reviewing the final destination and correcting or removing published content when necessary.

Hosted plans and payment

Some hosted features may require a paid plan. Prices, billing periods, limits, taxes, and cancellation terms will be shown at checkout or on the applicable pricing surface before you purchase. We will not charge you merely for joining the waitlist.

Unless otherwise stated at purchase, subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel future renewal through the available billing controls. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise.

Open-source software

Rolino's source code and separately distributed packages are governed by the licenses included with that code, not by these hosted-service Terms. Operating your own deployment does not require a hosted Rolino subscription. A self-hosted operator is responsible for its infrastructure, security, users, data practices, and legal compliance.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using Rolino and request deletion of your hosted data. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address security risks, unlawful use, material breaches, non-payment, harm to other users or platforms, or legal requirements.

Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, and dispute provisions—will survive.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the hosted service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Rolino disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. Rolino does not guarantee audience reach, engagement, revenue, provider approval, or successful delivery at a particular time.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rolino and its operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business opportunities.

Rolino's total liability arising from the hosted service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid Rolino for the hosted service during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim or CAD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Governing law and changes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable there, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Ontario will have exclusive jurisdiction, unless applicable consumer law requires otherwise.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be identified by a new effective date and, when appropriate, additional notice. Continued use after updated Terms take effect means you accept them.

Questions about these Terms can be sent to legal@getrolino.com.
