Rolino sends each approved article to your WordPress site as a formatted post, with its featured image, alt text, excerpt, and tags. Choose drafts to finish in WordPress, or live posts on your schedule. You connect with a WordPress Application Password, so no plugin is needed.
How it works

Create an Application Password
In WordPress, open your profile and add an Application Password for Rolino. Paste it with the site address in Blog Settings.

Choose drafts or live posts
Drafts land in WordPress for a final check. Live posts publish at the approved time, and updates change the same post.

Test, then send
Rolino checks that the account can create posts and upload images before it sends anything. The test never changes your site.
What Rolino sends
- Post title and slug
- Formatted article body (headings, lists, links)
- Featured image in your media library, with alt text
- Excerpt and tags
- Updates to the same post
- Unpublish returns the post to draft
What Rolino can access
- An Application Password for one Editor or Administrator account, revocable in WordPress at any time
- Rolino only calls the posts, tags, and media endpoints of the REST API
Rolino delivers an article only after its exact revision and image are approved.
WordPress questions
Do I need a WordPress plugin?
No. Rolino uses the WordPress REST API with an Application Password. A Rolino plugin with one-step setup and SEO plugin fields is in development.
Is WordPress publishing available to everyone?
It is in early access while we complete acceptance on more sites. Contact us to try it.
Where do the search title and description go?
Today WordPress receives the article excerpt, and the search title and description stay in Rolino. Support for Yoast, Rank Math, and All in One SEO fields comes with the Rolino plugin.
